Every month we get together with some friends of ours to enjoy a night of good fun, good food, and good fellowship. It’s a tradition that we started late last year and we’ve made a commitment to continue. We really enjoy the quest of scouring Columbus in search of new restaurants, cafes and diners.
Last month, Katawi and I chose for the group to venture off to Typhoon, a low key sushi bar located in the Arena District. It was pretty good, but still falls short of our favorite, Lemongrass.
This months was Nick and Dani’s turn to pick and they didn’t disappoint. Much to our surprise they ventured off of the beaten path of asian cuisine and decided for us to check out a new restaurant in Polaris called The Pub. It was an entertaining place, with even more entertaining staff. All male employees are required to wear skirts…errrr kilts, while the women all wore skirts. The atmosphere was lively and served as a great venue to crack jokes and laugh to your hearts content.
Afterward to headed back to Nick’s house to enjoy some DVD’s and PS3.
