WP 2.7 – Coltrane
A very cool feature called press this. Essentially it allows you to repost almost any media that interests you into your WP blog with the click of a button. Tumblr has been using this type of clipping action almost since its inception and though, I’ve not used it a great deal, I’ve always found it very convenient tool in the box.
Upon my initial install I was confronted with a nagging bug. The bug caused problems with the CMS interface of my site, rendering my dashboard inoperable. Once I deleted the Lighter menu’s plug-in off of my server the dashboard showed up in all of its redesigned and collapsable glory.
My favorite new feature is probably the redesigned dashboard. I was expecting a redesign, but WOW, the guys at WP sure did a nice job of restyling the interface. Dawn, from Open Book Strategies, was right when she tweeted, It takes getting used to but then you are IN LOVE. :)
